Sr Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer at HERE Technologies, you will be responsible for software development of application or system components, including design and review. Your key responsibilities will include: - Unit and Integration testing of developed code - Investigation and root cause analysis of software and system defects - Creating and executing approved test plans, analyzing and reporting results - Maintaining and running tools and processes that support and automate software product release - Understanding the technical aspects of the products used to support the configuration management activities of the development process - Adapting configuration management tools for the complex needs of the development teams or the management of the development process - Decomposing requirements for testability and providing feedback to the requirement gathering process - Interacting with customers/users to support the software acceptance process and acting as a liaison between development and the user community Qualifications required for this role include: - BE/ME/MCA degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree from a reputed college/university - 4+ years of hands-on application development experience - Demonstrated expertise in building and enhancing Java/Java EE based applications, proficient in Java 1.8 and above or Scala - Experience with AWS or any Cloud platform - Exposure to Angular JS or React is an added advantage - Familiarity with Web Services, Microservices, and REST services - Exposure to the Spring Framework, unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito, SQL, Agile software development processes, and Configuration Management tools like Git & Gitlab - Strong oral and written communication skills in English HERE Technologies is a location data and technology platform company that empowers its customers to achieve better outcomes, from managing city infrastructure to guiding drivers safely to their destinations.
