Job Summary

What you need to know about the role-
You will be working on developing and maintaining of monitoring and investigation related web application Meet our team This team is providing a self-service platform for monitoring and investigating business use cases, which can help business teams identifying frauds/issues quickly and hence prevent dollar loss or user experience loss of PayPal. And you will be performing a critical role in developing and maintaining the web UI of this application to ensure it can meets different requirements from business teams with good user experience.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles.
Advises immediate management on project-level issues
Guides junior engineers
Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices
Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification

Proficient in understanding Java and Python code, with the ability to analyze and debug existing implementations
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines, able to implement automated build and deployment using tools like Jenkins
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker; basic understanding of Kubernetes deployment and usage
Experience with Nginx configuration and management
Familiar with Linux environments; able to perform troubleshooting and write automation scripts (Shell/Python)
Experience with SQL(MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB) and TSDB (InfluxDB)
Problem-solving, debugging skills, Data structures & algorithms
