US Based Food Tech Product

Candidate Must have Product Company exp.

AI Development tools

Role & responsibilities

Design and Architect

robust, scalable, and secure back-end systems and

APIs

primarily using

Python (Django).
Lead the development and delivery of

complex, business-critical features, including

Agentic AI

components, ensuring high performance and quality.
Drive and enforce

software engineering best practices

(testing, code review, modularization) across the team to maintain a high bar for code health and maintainability.
Provide

technical leadership and mentorship

to mid and junior engineers, guiding their development and increasing team velocity and competency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Front-end) to define

technical specifications

and perform

system design/architecture reviews.
Proactively

identify and resolve technical debt

and advocate for innovative technologies and optimal architectural choices to improve the platform's foundation.
