Roles and Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the technology roadmap strategy for Smart Energy product development.
• Provide expert guidance in product design, development, and security throughout all phases of the SDLC.
• Lead and manage a portfolio of product development teams, ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Drive the innovation of new products and revenue streams through collaboration with customers, sales, and offering management.
• Take responsibility for talent development and retention, with a focus on upskilling and strategic hiring in new technologies (e.g., Data Analytics, Full-stack, Cloud, Dockers, Containerization).
• Oversee extensive SaaS/On-Prem software design, architectural, and development activities, guiding the incubation and scaling of SaaS offerings.
• Ensure seamless execution with Agile and DevSecOps practices, leveraging world-class development tools.
• Manage internal and external stakeholder alignment through clear articulation of strategy and vision.

Skills Requirement:

• Proven leadership in managing large software engineering teams, including attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
• Extensive experience in SaaS/On-Prem software design, architecture, and development, including shipping new products and understanding product-market fit.
• Excellent communication skills, encompassing strategy articulation, stakeholder influencing, and technical/business presentations.
• Experience in innovating new product introductions (NPI) and driving commercialization of software offerings.
• Hands-on experience in coding, designing, and architecting low-coupled, highly scalable, observable, and reusable software services and components.
• Extensive technical experience with Core Java, OSGI, Sancha, Oracle 21c, Graph models, data pipelines, and web clients.
• Awareness of contemporary SaaS technology paradigms and practices, including native cloud services (Azure/AWS) and cloud vendor-agnostic development.
• Understanding of resource orchestration software and tools for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data storage, and data pipelines.
• Expertise in software quality management practices (code coverage, performance testing, automated UI tests) and product security.
• Awareness of product user experience (next-gen UX) and a good understanding of the Industrial domain.
• Ability to engage effectively with end-users, customers, and partners for strong customer relationship management.

QUALIFICATION:

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech in a relevant engineering or computer science discipline.
