Sr. Software Developer (VC++/ MFC)

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing a legacy software application. This application is built using VC++ and MFC with an Oracle database backend. Your primary focus will be diagnosing and fixing software defects to ensure the stability and reliability of the application. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions. It will also be your responsibility to perform code reviews, write efficient code, and maintain coding standards and best practices. In this role, you will need to optimize application performance and ensure the scalability and security of the software. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. You must have at least 5 years of experience in software development using VC++ with a strong emphasis on MFC. A solid understanding of Oracle databases and experience working with SQL, PL/SQL, and database design is essential. Proficiency in debugging, profiling, and optimizing C++ applications is required. Experience with source control systems such as Git or SVN is also preferred.
