Sr. Software Developer Data solutions

As a Data Engineer at Johnson Controls, your role will involve designing, implementing, and managing data solutions in collaboration with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include: - Deploying data ingestion processes using Azure Data Factory to load data models into Azure Synapse. - Building, designing, and supporting ETL/ELT processes with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and/or Python. - Conducting data analysis using SQL and other tools to extract insights from datasets. - Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. - Assembling datasets that meet functional business requirements. - Maintaining data models and managing DevOps pipeline deployments. - Supporting data governance to enhance data quality. To be successful in this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. - 4+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a similar role. - Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL, etc.). - Experience with ETL/ELT processes, data quality, and data modeling. - Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis. - Ability to solve ETL/ELT problems with tactical/strategic solutions. - Project management and organizational skills. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.,
