Role & responsibilities Would you like to be part of a dedicated team that develops Industry cloud platform solutions helping build the next level digital services? Veracity consists of teams of more than 120 developers spread out across Norway, Poland and China. We now want to start building up in India. To begin with, we are looking for a skilled and passionate Senior Software Developer at our Pune, India office. You will join a global team that runs a broad range of products and services, transforming existing and developing new digital services and tools across all of DNV's industries. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about fostering a culture that supports mutual respect, focus, courage, openness and commitment, together with teams, stakeholders, other project managers/scrum masters and leaders. This position requires flexibility to work across Europe & Asia time zones as needed. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, or similar. 5 9 years of relevant professional experience in software development. Proficient in web application development using the Microsoft .NET framework. Strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud services. Familiarity with cloud-native development practices, including Docker and containerized deployment. Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns. Expertise in languages such as C#, Python, and JavaScript. Proficiency in SQL Server and database design. Experience with CI/CD. We use Azure DevOps. Your day-to-day tasks: Collaborating with the team to architect new features and ensure their transformation into business-critical solutions. Designing and developing applications with a strong emphasis on leveraging data as a core component of the product. Implementing a robust set of services and APIs to drive the functionality of the applications. Creating reusable code and libraries to streamline future development efforts. Optimizing applications for enhanced speed and scalability to meet performance requirements. Staying abreast of the latest technology trends and actively participating in knowledge sharing with colleagues. Engaging in agile, cross-functional teamwork to prioritize and deliver customer value. Liaising closely with DNV's technical and commercial experts to understand problem domains and devise optimal solutions. Participating in all development phases, from ideation to deployment and usage of solutions.
