Job Description

The main responsibilities of the Senior Engineer in Sales and Marketing include:

Customer Acquisition and Assessment
: Locate new customers, assess potential for wear protection coating, and collect necessary information.
After-Sales Service
: Provide prompt after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Application Development
: Develop new applications for wear-resistant coatings.
Order Management
: Attend inquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate, and finalize orders.
Customer Activity Tracking
: Monitor activities and developments at the customer's end and update the CRM system.
Work Order and Payment Follow-Up
: Track new/amended work orders and payments against receivables.
Trials and Demonstrations
: Conduct trials, demonstrate benefits of coatings, and generate trial reports and meeting minutes.
Seminar Coordination
: Organize seminars, including venue arrangements and participant management.
Target Planning
: Develop plans to meet budgeted targets.
Documentation
: Maintain required files and documents.
Key Customer Management
: Coordinate with the Marketing Manager for implementing the Key Customer Management System (KCM).

The qualifications required for the Senior Engineer Sales & Marketing role are:

Education:

Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production).

NTTF or equivalent certification is an added advantage.

Experience:

7-10 years in sales of dies and molds (sheet metal, plastic, and aluminum forming tools).

Skills:

Effective communication, analytical, negotiation, and planning skills.

Computer proficiency.

Technical Knowledge:

Expertise in sheet metal, die casting, and plastic molding dies.

Knowledge of design, manufacturing processes, metallurgy, and troubleshooting is preferred.
