SR QS COORDINATOR CIVIL & MEP

Role Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor in a building construction company, your role will involve preparing BOQ (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and material take-offs. You will evaluate tender documents, contracts, and variations, and conduct cost analysis to optimize project budgets. Your responsibilities will also include liaising with contractors, suppliers, and clients for cost-related matters, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards, monitoring project costs to prevent overruns, and assisting in value engineering and cost control strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and material take-offs. - Evaluate tender documents, contracts, and variations. - Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations to optimize project budgets. - Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients for cost-related matters. - Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards. - Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow to prevent overruns. - Assist in value engineering and cost control strategies. - Prepare reports on project expenditure and financial progress. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying in a building construction company. - Strong knowledge of cost estimation and procurement. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and cost management software. - Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
