Sr QA Engineer

As a QA Automation Specialist at Medxoom, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the features developed align with the specified requirements. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, and TestNG. Additionally, you will be tasked with identifying test scenarios, creating comprehensive test plans for automation, and executing automated test suites to analyze results efficiently. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a deep understanding of healthcare systems, be meticulous in validating business requirements, and have proven experience in building automated testing solutions for both frontend and backend applications. You will be expected to quantify risks for a release and provide a go-no-go decision when necessary. Collaboration with developers to understand software design and functionality will be crucial, as well as integrating automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline. Your contribution to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks and best practices will be essential, along with participating in code reviews to ensure testability and automation readiness. Monitoring and analyzing test execution metrics to enhance test coverage and efficiency, troubleshooting automation environment issues, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and automation are also key aspects of this role. Effective communication with team members regarding test progress, results, and potential risks, as well as fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the development team, will be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 7 years of experience in quality assurance and testing microservices and front-end applications, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience using automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for test automation, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#, and familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps are required. A solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills, are also necessary for success in this role.,
