Project Planning and Management
  • Develop comprehensive project roadmaps by defining key milestones, deliverables, and success criteria for each engineering initiative.
  • Collaborate with engineering team leads to accurately estimate resources, budgets, and timelines for all phases of project execution.
  • Proactively track project performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) such as schedule adherence, budget variance, and quality benchmarks.
  • Analyze changes in project requirements and scope, and efficiently implement change management strategies to minimize disruption and maximize outcomes.
  • Utilize agile, waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies depending on the nature and scope of the project while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Leadership and Team Coordination
  • Define clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations for each member of the project team, ensuring accountability and optimal performance.
  • Serve as a motivational leader by fostering a results-driven culture, inspiring the engineering team to meet challenging goals.
  • Resolve conflicts within project teams in a fair and timely manner, mitigating risks to performance or timeline delays.
  • Facilitate team-building activities and retrospectives to strengthen collaboration and continuously improve workflow processes.
  • Provide coaching and professional development support to engineers and team members to optimize their individual contributions.
Reporting and Stakeholder Management
  • Maintain a comprehensive project dashboard to provide real-time visibility to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Deliver executive-level presentations summarizing critical metrics, program highlights, and challenges, along with actionable recommendations for resolution.
  • Actively engage stakeholders during all stages of the project lifecycle to incorporate their input and manage expectations effectively.
  • Work with external vendors, contractors, or consultants as necessary, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and timelines.
  • Address and resolve escalations from stakeholders promptly while ensuring alignment with program goals and constraints.
Risk and Issue Management
  • Set up and oversee a robust risk mitigation framework to identify, assess, and address potential challenges early on.
  • Prioritize and manage issues during the development cycle by coordinating with engineering and operations teams to implement quick resolutions.
  • Conduct root cause analyses for recurring risks and implement preventative measures to safeguard project delivery.
  • Ensure adherence
  • Proven ability to deliver complex engineering programs through advanced knowledge of project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to inspire and build high-performing teams to achieve program objectives.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive and creative approach to addressing challenges and mitigating risks.
  • Outstanding interpersonal abilities to articulate complex technical and strategic concepts to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles, processes, and product lifecycles to make informed decisions and guide project execution.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple initiatives in parallel, effectively prioritizing tasks and resources within fast-paced and dynamic environments.
  • Ability to work efficiently in fluid and rapidly changing conditions while fostering collaboration and alignment across departments.
Computer Skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar platforms.
  • Technical knowledge of engineering tools and software is highly preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
