Sr Principal Site Reliability Engineer

As a Sr Principal Site Reliability Engineer at UKG, you will be part of a dynamic team with a mission to inspire organizations to become great places to work through award-winning HR technology. Your role will involve developing software solutions to enhance and support service delivery processes, including tasks such as building CI/CD deployment pipelines, automated testing, capacity planning, performance analysis, monitoring, alerting, chaos engineering, and auto remediation. You must have a passion for continuous learning and staying updated with current technology trends. Your focus will be on innovating to ensure a flawless customer experience, with an "automate everything" mindset to deploy services quickly, consistently, and reliably. Primary responsibilities include engaging in the lifecycle of services, defining and implementing standards and best practices, supporting services and engineering teams, improving system performance through automation, collaborating closely with engineering professionals, eliminating operational toil, participating in incident response, partnering with stakeholders to drive technical and business outcomes, guiding junior team members, and championing Site Reliability Engineering. To qualify for this role, you should have an engineering degree or a related technical discipline, along with 10+ years of experience in SRE. You should be proficient in coding languages like Python, JavaScript, C++, or Java, and have knowledge of Cloud-based applications and containerization technologies. Experience with industry standards like Terraform and Ansible, working with public cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure), configuring and maintaining applications and systems infrastructure, and building CI/CD pipelines is essential.
