As a member of the product development division, you will define, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general. Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BE or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area with minimum of 15+ years of software engineering or related experience. Career Level - IC5 Oracle is looking for a Senior Principal Product Manager for our 5G network functions portfolio. Primary responsibilities include: Specifying technical requirements and working with development teams to translate requirements into features. Collaborate with the Product Line Management to define product vision and roadmap. Support customer engagements and lead technical discussions with Mobile Network Operators and Service Providers all around the world. Key Knowledge Areas: In depth knowledge of 5G/4G Policy, BSF Core components Emerging 5G Service Based Architecture as defined by 3GPP Knowledge of 5G/4G protocols and call flows Cloud Native technologies and Container based deployment models In-depth knowledge of Cloud Native Infrastructure Platforms and their Architecture Working experience with Kubernetes, Service Mesh, Container Network Interfaces, Helm, Terraform, etc. is a plus Working experience with large-scale product deployment models, dimensioning and sizing Experience with Cloud Native Bare-metal and Virtualized Platforms Experience with Continuous Deployment Automation and Orchestration Experience with Observability services in Traces, logs, and Metrics Summary of Qualifications: Must have 15+ years of experience working in mobile signaling associated with 3G/4G/5G network functions such as PCF/PCRF, NRF, SCP, AMF/MME, NSSF, CHF, SMF/PGW, SEPP/DSR/DEA, etc. Must have 3+ years of experience in Cloud Native technologies, Container networking, Container-based deployment models, and Load Balancers. Experience in defining software product requirements for engineering organizations is required.
