Sr. Oracle DBA

You will be responsible for performing various tasks as an Oracle DBA at Warrior Tech Solutions in Chennai. Your main duties will include: - Installing, configuring, and upgrading Oracle database software. - Applying quarterly patches for Grid and Oracle home. - Configuring and maintaining standby database. - Monitoring database performance and implementing optimization strategies. - Ensuring database security and compliance with organizational policies. - Performing regular backups and recovery operations. - Collaborating with developers to design and implement database solutions. - Troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues promptly. - Developing and maintaining database documentation and standards. - Planning and executing database migrations and upgrades. - Setting up Oracle Golden Gate both uni-directional and bidirectional. - Maintaining Oracle Golden Gate synchronization with the source. - Identifying Oracle Golden Gate sync related issues and implementing best practices. - Identifying performance issues and implementing best practices. - Managing user creation and access. - Planning storage capacity to ensure ASM and tablespace are maintained under threshold and avoiding repetitive space-related incidents. - Creating and maintaining RAC with Data Guard. - Administering RAC database. - Performing AWS RDS instance administration, rehydration, engine upgrade, and certificate renewal.
