Sr. Node JS Developer

You are an experienced Senior Node.js Developer with over 6 years of experience. You have expertise in Node.js, Socket.io, MySQL, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and RabbitMQ. You excel in building scalable, real-time, and high-performance applications, and any experience with a Trade Matching Engine is a bonus. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services using Node.js. You will implement real-time communication and event-driven architectures with Socket.io, Kafka, and RabbitMQ. Managing relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL and Redis, developing containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of backend services are key aspects of your role. Collaborating with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers, integrating and optimizing system performance, writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code while conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance to junior developers are crucial tasks. Your required skills include 6+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js. You should have a strong expertise in Socket.io, experience with MySQL and Redis, proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes, hands-on experience with Kafka and RabbitMQ, and a deep understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs. Designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications, strong debugging and performance optimization skills, and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure are also essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with Trade Matching Engines or financial trading platforms, understanding of low-latency, high-frequency trading systems, knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps best practices, and the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
