Sr. MVC Programmer

As a Senior Software Engineer at Addis Infotech, you will be joining an Agile software development team to create software or web-based applications using ASP.Net MVC technology. Your role will involve utilizing the latest programming languages and technologies to develop commercialized products, while providing client service and contributing to the organization's mission of leveraging information technology to enhance client systems. **Responsibilities:** - Use the latest programming languages and technologies to develop computer programs for commercialized products. - Apply strong technical skills and business understanding to solve technical and functional issues for clients. - Continuously enhance technical knowledge and skills to maintain a competitive edge for the product being developed. - Adhere to the software development lifecycle model, specifically Scrum. - Develop scripts and employ tools to automate application and database builds, deployment, unit tests, and system tests across various QA environments. - Offer assistance and troubleshooting to the team and users in resolving application-related issues. **Required Qualifications:** - Must have 3-5+ years of experience in .NET. - Proficiency in WCF, Web/Windows Services, C#/VB.NET, SQL Server. - Minimum 2 years of experience in MVC with Web.API, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML/CSS, LINQ. - Experience with Entity Framework with Code First. - Familiarity with Agile Methodology (Scrum). **Preferred Qualifications:** - Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Silverlight or WPF. - Minimum 3+ years of experience in MS SQL. - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in TFS. - Knowledge of Linux and mobile development would be advantageous.
