Sr. MERN Developer

As a MERN Stack Developer at reverseBits in Ahmedabad, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications using Javascript based frameworks and both Relational & NoSQL databases for high-scale products/systems. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translating them into web application features. - Developing and maintaining production systems and databases, working closely with the DevOps team for cloud operations. - Writing clean, efficient, and reusable code following coding standards and best practices. - Conducting thorough testing and debugging to ensure system functionality and performance. - Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in Javascript development. - Troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by users and stakeholders. - Participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and improve team productivity. - Resolving issues in production environments to ensure high availability and minimal downtime. Skills and Qualifications required for this role: - At least 3 years of hands-on experience in NodeJS and React JS, including its frameworks. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Strong proficiency in Javascript backend frameworks such as Node JS and Express JS. - Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture. - Solid understanding of database systems like MongoDB, MySQL, and data modelling concepts. - Basic Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS. - Hands-on experience in MongoDB is a must. - Proficiency in version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward addressing challenges. - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. - Prior experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment. Bonus points if you have experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
