Sr. Merchandiser

As a Sr. Merchandiser specializing in Denim Apparel, the ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the field. A Degree or Diploma in Apparel merchandising or textiles from a recognized institute is required. The salary for this position will be based on experience and is negotiable for the right candidate. The location for this role is Udyog Vihar Phase-4, Gurgaon, and immediate joining is expected. The candidate we are seeking should have a background of working in a mid to large-sized apparel manufacturing firm and catering to esteemed retail clients. Prior experience in handling denims and familiarity with laundry processes would be advantageous. Key responsibilities for this role include organizing fabric and trims for sampling, managing sampling programs, and overseeing the production process from Proto to PP samples. Maintaining a comprehensive record of samples and tech packs in an ERP system is essential. Proficiency in Excel and strong communication skills are required. Experience with ERP systems and Brand Portals is preferred. The successful candidate must exhibit a strong sense of follow-up in production processes, adhere strictly to sampling timelines, coordinate effectively with production and quality teams, and be proficient in costings.
