Sr. Market Data Interface Developer (MxML, SQL & Java)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Market Data Interface Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in market data interfaces, specifically in MxML and related technologies. This role involves end-to-end project deliverables, including configuration, testing, and user assistance, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of market data streams.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage Market Data interfaces, both MDIT (batch) and real-time.
• Oversee project deliverables from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines.
• Conduct business requirements analysis and write detailed specifications.
• Perform configuration, testing, and validation of market data interfaces.
• Provide user assistance and support throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Skills:

Category-wise Technical Skills:

• Programming and Data Technologies:
• Proficient in SQL for database management and querying.
• Strong knowledge of XML for data exchange and configuration.
• Experience in Java for application development.
• Market Data Interfaces:
• Expertise in Mx.3 post-trade workflows, exchange workflows, and DataDictionary.
• Familiarity with interface configuration and market data configuration processes.
• Project Management:
• Knowledge in project management methodologies and issue management.
• Experience with middlewares and End-of-Day (EOD) processes.

Experience:

• 5 to 9 years of experience in developing and configuring market data interfaces (both batch and real-time).
• Proven track record in managing project deliverables and adhering to project timelines.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements.
• Write detailed specifications for market data interfaces.
• Configure, test, and validate interfaces to ensure they meet business needs.
• Schedule and manage jobs related to market data processing.
• Provide ongoing support and assistance to users regarding market data interfaces.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to market data processing and configuration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in project management or data management are a plus.
