Role & responsibilities Financial Reporting : Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports. Budgeting and Forecasting : Oversee the development of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with plant goals. Cash Flow Management : Monitor and manage the plant's cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations. Cost Control and Analysis : Analyze production costs and implement strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Compliance and Auditing : Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies; liaise with auditors. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international financial and environmental regulations, including environmental impact reporting. Financial Planning : Provide strategic financial insights to support plant decision-making and long-term financial planning. Inventory Valuation : Oversee accurate valuation of inventory and work in progress, ensuring financial integrity. Risk Management : Identify and mitigate financial risks affecting plant operations and profitability. Team Leadership : Lead and manage the Accounts and Finance team, ensuring effective and efficient financial operations.
