Job Title: Skill Development Manager/ Sr. Manager Job Description Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Skill Development Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in enhancing the professional skills of students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and addressing training needs, planning and executing skill development programs, preparing students for successful corporate integration, implementing a Management of Self program encompassing life skills, and providing personalized mentoring to allocated students. Key Responsibilities: 1. Training Needs Identification: Conduct thorough assessments to identify specific skill gaps within assigned student cohorts. Analyze industry trends, employer expectations, and feedback to determine relevant training areas. 2. Training Calendar Planning: Develop a comprehensive training calendar based on identified areas of improvement. Collaborate with faculty and industry experts to design targeted skill development programs. 3. Skill Training Programs: Implement and facilitate skill training sessions and workshops for students. Utilize innovative teaching methodologies to ensure effective and engaging learning experiences. 4. Language Enhancement: Focus on language proficiency for students with identified weaknesses. Design and implement language enhancement programs to improve communication skills. 5. Corporate Preparedness: Develop and execute programs to familiarize students with corporate environments and expectations. Provide insights into industry-specific nuances and cultivate a corporate mindset among participants. 6. Mock Interviews and Group Discussions: Organize mock interview sessions to prepare students for real-world job interviews. Conduct group discussions to enhance communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. 7. Management of Self Program: Implement a comprehensive program focusing on life skills such as Goal Setting, Time Management, Stress Management, Conflict Resolution, etc. Provide tools and strategies for students to manage themselves. 8. Mentoring: Offer personalized mentoring to assigned students, guiding academic and professional development. Assist students in setting and achieving personal and career goals, offering support and encouragement throughout their journey. 9. Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate the progress of students in skill development programs. Provide constructive feedback and implement adjustments to ensure continuous improvement. Qualifications: 1. 5-7 years of experience in relevant field. 2. Proven experience in designing and delivering skill development programs. 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Strong organizational and project management abilities. 5. Familiarity with the corporate landscape and hiring processes.
