In this key role, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight to drive the development and testing of software products. Your primary objectives will include building and managing a team of developers, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality solutions, and fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our R&D software efforts, contributing to the creation of new products and features across various platforms including mobile apps, cloud-based data platforms, and web applications. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of a team of developers to support software product delivery. - Manage the daily operations of the offshore development center and establish effective communication channels with stakeholders in San Diego and Portland. - Provide technical leadership to the team in India and drive process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency. - Participate in software requirements and design reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. - Develop and implement test documentation processes to support the quality management system. - Drive the development of test automation frameworks and establish best practices for comprehensive software product testing. - Continuously review staffing levels, recruit exceptional talent, and foster a high-performing team culture based on ownership and collaboration. - Demonstrate hands-on expertise in software development and testing.
