Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for developing innovative formulations, improving existing products, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting manufacturing scale-up. The role drives concept-to-commercialization of nutraceutical products across multiple dosage forms.

New Product Development

Develop formulations for nutraceutical products such as:
Capsules Tablets Effervescent tablets Gummies Powders / Ready-to-Mix blends Functional beverages Herbal & botanical extract-based formulations
Conduct feasibility studies, prototype development, ingredient selection, and formulation trials.
Ensure stability, bioavailability, taste masking, and sensory optimization.

Regulatory & Documentation

Ensure compliance with FSSAI, US FDA (DSHEA), EU requirements, and relevant nutraceutical regulations.

Ingredient Research & Technology Scouting, Quality, Safety & Compliance

Preferred candidate profile

M.Sc / M.Tech/ Ph.D in Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharma, or Nutraceutical Science.
10- 15 years of experience
in nutraceutical / dietary supplement / food ingredients R&D.
Strong knowledge of formulation science, functional ingredients, and delivery systems.
