Sr Manager, Privacy Compliance & Assurance

As a Senior Manager, Privacy Compliance, you will lead a team of privacy professionals in ensuring global privacy compliance. Your responsibilities include managing compliance projects, interpreting legal requirements, and integrating robust privacy practices into business operations. You will collaborate with stakeholders to drive data governance and compliance initiatives across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Privacy Compliance: - Lead and manage a compliance team in Hyderabad to assess adherence to privacy regulations - Execute global privacy compliance projects in line with legal requirements - Coordinate privacy audits and provide guidance on compliance to internal and external stakeholders - Develop privacy guidance for risk mitigation and conduct compliance testing - Track and report on compliance metrics and maintain digital tracking technologies in line with privacy standards - Analyze data use cases and drive compliant product configurations Stakeholder Management: - Collaborate with privacy professionals, lawyers, and technology stakeholders on governance and compliance initiatives - Partner with Data Governance, Legal, Security, and Technology teams Team Management: - Oversee a team of data and privacy professionals - Allocate workload, train team members, and ensure competency in privacy regulations Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience - 8-10 years of professional experience in privacy - 3+ years of people management experience - Knowledge of privacy frameworks and regulations - Strong organizational and project management skills - Proficiency in MS Office applications Preferred Experience: - Familiarity with media, entertainment, and technology industries - Certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CISM, CDPSE - Experience with Data Catalog Tools or Privacy Platforms - Knowledge of digital tracking technologies and data privacy standards Please note that this is a hybrid position requiring onsite work 3 days per week.
