Sr. Manager - Indirect Taxation

Role Overview: You will be joining Godrej Properties Limited as a Senior Manager in Indirect Taxation, located in Mumbai. Your role will involve having a working knowledge of SAP, supervising GST returns filing and GST audit, ensuring compliances of GST requirements, attending assessments and appeals with the help of tax consultants, providing guidelines within zones regarding new GST requirements, advising internal stakeholders on GST related clarifications, and supporting in new business acquisition deals and its structuring. Key Responsibilities: - Have a working knowledge of SAP - Supervise GST returns filing and GST audit - Ensure compliances of GST requirements - Attend assessments and appeals with the help of tax consultants - Provide guidelines within zones with respect to new GST requirements/circulars - Advise internal stakeholders on GST related clarifications - Support in new business acquisition deals and its structuring Qualifications Required: - Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in indirect taxation - Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS) or indirect taxation - Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams - Excellent financial modeling, analytical, and presentation skills - Prior experience in real estate, conglomerates, oil & gas, or manufacturing sectors is an advantage Additional Details of the Company: Godrej Properties Limited brings the Godrej Group philosophy of innovation, sustainability, and excellence to the real estate industry.
