Sr. Logistics- Agri commodity

As a Contract and Logistics Coordinator, your role involves creating separate files for each contract and ensuring that shipping instructions are accurate and timely. You will be responsible for coordinating shipping schedules, dealing with shipping problems, checking shipping documents, and issuing invoices. Additionally, you will handle warehousing instructions, update shipment statuses, and manage irregularities in shipments. Your communication skills, presentation abilities, and computer proficiency will be crucial in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Create individual files for each contract - Ensure accurate and timely shipping instructions are provided to suppliers/agents - Coordinate shipping schedules and follow up with suppliers/agents/buyers - Handle various shipping issues such as delays and equipment shortage - Check and process incoming shipping advices and documents - Generate outgoing shipping advices for buyers/agents - Verify completeness and correctness of incoming shipping documents - Manage freight invoices and weight notes in accordance with European Coffee Contracts - Issue final invoices for weight differences and warehousing/sampling instructions - Update shipment statuses and handle rejected lots in collaboration with traders Qualifications Required: - Effective and clear communication skills - Proficiency in MS Office (Intermediate Excel), ERP systems, and trade/logistics processes - Knowledge of customer contract processes, tariffs, and documentation - Familiarity with agricultural commodities/FMCG business and trading practices - Experience with continuous improvement and lean six sigma tools Experience: - 4-6 years in contract management & logistics industries - Work experience in European / Asian / African geographies - Proficient in managing carriers/forwarders and international import/export documentation - Previous experience in physical commodities business and ERP transactions is desirable Please note that this is a full-time position with a day shift schedule.
