Sr Lead Engineer- Audio test

As a Software Test Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying test plans, debugging test frameworks, and building scalable test automation solutions. Your expertise in voice call validation, voice quality metrics, power and performance features, IMS and SIP protocol testing, VoIP call validation, concurrency and stress testing, Bluetooth device testing, acoustic voice quality tests, voice UI technologies, and voice AI technologies will be crucial. Proficiency in Python programming is required, and familiarity with the Android framework and machine learning is a plus. Collaboration with global teams, analysis of product requirements, manual validation of test scenarios, development and execution of test strategies, design and maintenance of test plans, frameworks, and automation tools, and alignment with multimedia and voice technology teams are key responsibilities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with software and systems engineers across global teams to ensure product quality. - Analyze product requirements and customer use cases to define effective test development and automation strategies. - Conduct manual validation of test scenarios when necessary. - Develop and execute test strategies for the verification and commercial launch of voice communication and acoustic technologies. - Design, implement, and maintain test plans, frameworks, and automation tools. - Work closely with multimedia and voice technology teams to align on test methodologies and share best practices. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience; OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience; OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Test Engineering or related work experience. - 2+ years of work or academic experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).
