Sr. Java Full Stack Developer(Production Support)

As a Production Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing Level 2 and 3 support for Intact Commercial Lines and Specialized Lines applications. Your main duties will include coordinating and facilitating Incident Management, working with IT for deploying changes to the production environment, and engaging 3rd party providers during incidents. You will triage, investigate, and ensure fast turnaround times for issue resolution, collaborating with various teams and stakeholders across Intact. Furthermore, you will be required to coordinate with different squads, IT, departmental leaders, and vendors to resolve complex issues and malfunctions. Your responsibilities will include defining and scoping the issues, analyzing problems, identifying root causes, participating in defect fixes, and conducting an analysis of potential solutions with recommendations. In addition to incident resolution, you will maintain in-depth knowledge of various applications, user workflows, interfaces, integration, tools, and processes. You will also support deployment activities, manage implementation issues, and provide subject matter expertise on projects and improvement initiatives. Your technical expertise should include strong knowledge of Java with Spring framework, Oracle PL/SQL, and Angular with TypeScript. Familiarity with GitHub, Maven Jenkins, OpenShift, Dynatrace, and ServiceNow will be considered a bonus. Apart from technical skills, soft skills such as troubleshooting, having a curious mindset, analytical thinking, ability to work under pressure, and effective team collaboration are essential for success in this role. Moreover, you will be involved in developing disaster recovery strategies, testing recovery procedures, identifying opportunities to enhance operational capabilities, sharing expertise, mentoring employees, and promoting development across the organization. Lastly, your role will involve participating in an on-call rotation during out-of-business hours to ensure continuous support and maintenance of the applications and systems.,
