Job Description

Senior Software Engineer, Full-stack (5-8 Years Experience)

Department: Core Banking Solutions

Java 21, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Angular, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop full-stack solutions using Java 21, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and Angular.
  • Drive migration from legacy technologies: JSP, Servlets, Struts, MSSQL, and IBM MQ.
  • Mentor junior developers and enforce best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and delivery plans.
  • Lead containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Design and deploy scalable services on AWS.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 5-8 years of full-stack development experience.
  • Deep expertise in Java 8 or higher, PostgreSQL, REST API, messaging queues, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, Spring Cloud, and microservices.
  • Strong front-end skills with Angular 17 or higher.
  • Hands-on experience with JSP, Servlet, Struts, and EJB.
  • Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with legacy systems and migration strategies.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, GitOps, and cloud security.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the banking or financial services domain.
  • AWS/Kubernetes certifications.
  • Familiarity with observability tools and performance tuning.
