Sr. Java Developer

As a Software Developer using Java programming language, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain software applications. You will be tasked with writing efficient and testable code, collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute tasks, as well as troubleshooting and debugging software issues. It is essential to ensure software quality through thorough testing and code reviews, while also staying updated on new technologies and programming languages. Additionally, you will participate in the full software development lifecycle, which includes planning, designing, coding, testing, and deploying software. Documenting software development processes, procedures, and code changes will be necessary, along with providing technical guidance to team members. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development. Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate is required, along with experience working with development tools like Eclipse and IntelliJ IDEA. Familiarity with relational databases, software development methodologies like Agile and Scrum, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong communication and teamwork abilities are also essential. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science, experience with microservices architecture, knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure, and experience with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
