Senior Application Developer - Java

Job Requirements:
. Contribute to IS Projects conducts systems and requirements analyses to identify project action items.. Perform Analysis and Design participates in defining and developing technical specifications to meet systems requirements. . Design and Develop Moderate to Highly Complex Applications Analyzes, designs, codes, tests, corrects, and documents moderate to highly complex programs to ensure optimal performance and compliance. . Develop Application Documentation Develops and maintains system documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency. . Produce Integration Builds Defines and produces integration builds to create applications.. Performs Maintenance and Support Defines and administers procedures to monitor systems performance and integrity.. Support Emerging Technologies and Products Monitors the industry to gain knowledge and understanding of emerging technologies.

Basic qualifications:
. 10+ years of experience with Java, including building complex, scalable applications.. 10+ years of experience in Spring Boot, including designing and implementing advanced microservices architectures. . 10+ years of experience in o RESTful API, GraphQL, XML, and SOAPo OpenAPI Specificationo HTTP/HTTPS protocols o Understanding and evaluating data schemas, like JSON Schema, YAML or SOAP/XML Schema.o Understanding OAuth, JWT, API keys, and other authentication and authorization mechanisms.o Rate Limiting and Throttling: Knowledge of how these policies affect API usage and performance.o Tools like VSCode, Spectral, Stoplight Studio, or other IDEs and API documentation and testing tools.o Microservice patterns & concepts & their application to application design and business solutions. 10+ years of experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, particularly Couchbase, including design, development, and optimization of database-intensive applications.. 10+ years of experience in object-oriented programming and design patterns . 6+ years of experience working with OpenShift and Web API. 6+ years of experience with Kafka, AMQ, WMQ including the ability to design and implement robust messaging systems. . 6+ years of experience in OpenShift or Kubernetes, including CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, container orchestration, and deployment strategies.. 6+ years of experience with DevOps (using pipelines building/deploying)Preferred qualifications:. 6+ years of experience in basic networking, DNS Proxy, JFROG, Junit, SQL server.. 6+ years of experience working with databases such as SQL server. 2+ years of experience working with Google Cloud Platform . 2+ years of experience working with security (tokenization, encryption, certificate management, APIC/APigee application management, Oath token code management)Mindset:.
