Role Overview: As an Accountant at our company based in Indore (M. P.), your primary role will be to ensure accurate quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity, and cash flows of our business. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with all tax regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Manage all accounting transactions efficiently. - Prepare budget forecasts to support financial planning. - Publish financial statements in a timely manner for decision-making. - Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings effectively. - Release form 16 to all employees at the end of the financial year. - Compute taxes and prepare tax returns accurately. - Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements meticulously. - Report on the company's financial health and liquidity to stakeholders. - Audit financial transactions and documents with attention to detail. - Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct necessary database backups. - Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations at all times. Qualifications Required: - Prior work experience as an Accountant is essential. - Proficiency in releasing form 16 to all employees at the end of the financial year. - Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP. - Advanced skills in MS Excel, including V-lookups and pivot tables. - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to support financial decision-making.
