As a Vendor Management and Procurement Specialist in the Construction field, your primary responsibility will be to find and collaborate with suppliers to acquire necessary materials and services. You will negotiate favorable prices and terms with suppliers while cultivating strong relationships to ensure reliable service delivery. In the realm of Procurement & Purchasing, you will be tasked with ordering materials and services for ongoing projects. It will be crucial to maintain meticulous inventory records and oversee timely deliveries to support project timelines effectively. Cost control and budget adherence are paramount aspects of your role. You will be expected to monitor purchases closely to ensure alignment with project budgets. Additionally, seeking opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality will be essential. Quality control is a key focus area where you will verify that procured goods meet the required quality standards. Swiftly addressing any issues that may arise with suppliers is imperative to maintain project momentum. Your responsibilities will also encompass diligent Documentation & Reporting. This involves managing purchase records, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing detailed reports on purchasing activities and inventory status. Staying abreast of industry trends and identifying new suppliers are integral parts of your role in Market Research. By actively seeking opportunities to enhance procurement processes and reduce costs, you will contribute significantly to the efficiency of operations. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Bachelor's degree and have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in the Construction field. A profound understanding of construction materials, equipment, and services is required, along with exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
