Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. Coordinates cross functional teams to drive process improvements for Productivity, Material Flow and Cost reduction and involves in different process improvements based on Lean manufacturing, 5S, TPM, etc. 2. Conducts Value Stream Analysis (Current and Future State Value Stream Mapping). 3. Preparation of plant layouts to have better resource utilization and monitoring man/machine utilization. 4. Assists in productivity data analysis and methods for improvement in the process of setting new productivity norms. Carry out work measurement and method improvement through techniques such as MOST. 5. Contribute in new product design and implementation on shop floor. 6. Time validation and time estimation for subcontracted items. 7. Reduction of losses like GW & Idle hrs thru process improvements and drive initiative with all respective agencies Projects 8. Project management - Project planning and Project Resource Management. 9. To identify barriers in project implementation with the help of cross functional department heads when needed. 10. To prepare and follow project monitoring, standard reporting systems, detailed plans, to drive project performance and ensure timely completion. To implement through put time reduction technique. 11. Implementation of Semi/Fully automation projects. Preferred candidate profile # Relevant Experience in Industrial Engineering Department. # Hands on experience of MOST Technique # BE(Mechanical) / DME - BE with 3 to 5 years & DME with 4 to 6 years # Experience in Engineering or related Industry is preferred.
