As a Fundraising Manager at our organization, your role will involve: - Compiling and maintaining a database of international and local donor organizations, including international foundations, bilateral and multilateral agencies, and private corporations offering donations. - Regularly monitoring donor websites to identify and inform about donor opportunities that align with the organization's work. - Maintaining and updating a website with information about the organization's work. - Assisting the Director in writing concept notes, project ideas, and project proposals for timely submission. - Conducting independent research to identify alternative resources for the organization's long-term sustainability. - Collaborating with the Director to develop business plans aimed at generating income from various sources. - Undertaking online research, establishing contacts with potential individual donors, and raising funds for the organization's activities. - Cultivating and maintaining relationships with existing donors, keeping them updated on the organization's work. - Enhancing and creating communication materials for the organization, such as brochures, websites, annual reports, DVDs, and posters. - Organizing or assisting in organizing fundraising events for the organization. - Brainstorming and suggesting innovative ideas for effective resource mobilization. Qualifications required for this role: - 5+ years of prior sales/business development/fundraising experience, with interactions in hospitals, universities, and marathons being a huge plus. - MBA or Bachelor's degree from a reputed college (MBA/Social Sector related degree is advantageous). - Basic event planning experience within the social sector. - Strong network of existing relationships with corporates, hospitals, universities, marathons, and nonprofit donors (a huge plus). - Deep understanding of the Indian donor mindset, encompassing individual, HNWI, or corporate donors. - Client servicing skills and proficiency in using PowerPoint. - Ability to act as a consultant to players in both corporate and social sectors, pitching products that align with their growth plans. - Aggressive and focused approach towards sourcing, meeting, and closing deals. - Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Hindi. - Strong people skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, inspire, and speak logically and directly. - Creative self-starter comfortable with taking initiative and collaborating within teams. - Participation in marathons, walkathons, and cyclotrons is considered a plus. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including Provident Fund. The work schedule is during day shifts, and the preferred work location is in person.
