Sr. Engineer - Sales - Extrusion - Bangalore

As a Key Account Manager for Extrusion machinery business, your primary role will be to build and strengthen long-lasting customer relationships. This involves understanding the needs of your customers and partnering with them effectively. You will also be responsible for identifying emerging markets and market shifts, developing new business opportunities in multiple territories, and keeping track of technology trends and competitor products. Your goal is to generate business, achieve AOP targets, reduce discounts, and enhance profitability. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with customers to understand their needs and build strong relationships - Identify emerging markets and develop new business opportunities - Stay updated on technology trends, competitor products, and market shifts - Generate new business in non-traditional market segments - Visit customers regularly to maintain liaison, convert them into repeat customers, and conquer competitors" customers - Ensure the right machine sizing and selection for customers - Submit quotations in a timely manner and follow up to convert into business - Monitor order submission and process enhancement in Big Machines - Collect market information about new products and competitors" activity - Enhance business through strategic product positioning in the market - Maintain the Sales Pipeline, present sales reports, revenue reports, expense reports, and provide realistic forecasts to the senior team Qualifications Required: - Education Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Plastics and Master of Business Administration (MBA) will be considered as an additional qualification - Experience: 4-5 years of experience in sales of Capital equipment, experience in extrusion machines or Injection molding machines shall be an added advantage Milacron is a global leader in the plastic technology and processing industry, offering highly engineered and customized systems.
