Sr. Engineer, Release Management

As a Senior Cloud Engineer at AHEAD, you will leverage your extensive knowledge and experience in Cloud/DevOps to design, develop, and deploy solutions using Cloud/DevOps platforms. Working closely with customer service owners, process owners, and various service delivery groups, you will participate in demos and meetings professionally and courteously. You will be a highly experienced subject matter expert on Cloud/DevOps platforms, specializing in designing, developing, and deploying integrations with external third-party tools. Your responsibilities will include: - Acting as the subject matter expert (SME) for cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP, offering guidance on best practices and architectural decisions. - Supporting customers with core technologies used for Managed Services offerings such as Cloud, Automation, Terraform, and CI/CD. - Assisting in team building by participating in interviewing, onboarding, and aligning technical resources. - Effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through strong communication and presentation skills. - Leading the creation of documentation and written deliverables. - Maintaining high levels of project and situational awareness to ensure deliverables align with organizational goals and timelines. - Providing technical leadership to junior staff through coaching, mentoring, and feedback. - Acting as a technical expert in internal knowledge sharing and client engagements. - Ensuring precision and accuracy in all tasks with a strong attention to detail. - Influencing team members and external customers regarding policies, best practices, and procedures. - Obtaining and maintaining relevant certifications. Qualifications for this role include: - Being a subject matter expert in AWS, Azure, and GCP with the ability to architect and manage multi-cloud environments. - Experience with FinOps Foundation practices and tools. - Knowledge of modern monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog. - Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, CI/CD tools, and containerization technologies. - Strong leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and technical leadership. - Proficiency in JIRA and familiarity with its features for managing workflows and tasks. - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Project and situational awareness with attention to detail.
