Sr. Engineer Production Optimization

As a Senior Engineer Operation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of assigned plant by following defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding technical requirements for the safe operation of units and providing accurate and timely data/information. - Knowledge of P&ID and PFD, as well as SCADA/DCS operation. - Interface with O&M Teams for Planning, KRAs, KPIs, Troubleshooting, and to expedite planned/unplanned maintenance activities. - Supporting in the compliance of audits and assisting in the closeout of audit recommendations. - Assisting in the review and development of SOPs within the functional area to continuously improve operations and update operation checklists. - Supporting in shift operations by assisting in manpower/shift planning, coordinating with shift employees, providing inputs to supervisors, and releasing shift schedules. - Ensuring timely completion of PRA and identifying any deviations in the data. - Generating SAP notifications and awareness of permit system. - Reviewing OMPRO exceptional reports and informing management of any deviations. - Ensuring timely reporting of all incidents and analyzing them. - Identifying training and development needs of field operators. - Liaising with relevant department heads to improve information sharing for planning/scheduling activities. - Maintaining effective cost control and promoting cost awareness in others. - Working with contractors as and when required. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: - Involvement in plant shutdown & start-up activities and thorough knowledge of equipment. - Working knowledge of oil & gas operation codes & standards. - Meticulous, flexible, versatile, determined, and capable of assertive and positive communication and performance. - Proficiency in MIS/SAP, process engineering, and process safety. - Thorough knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities, as well as oil & gas production. Education Required: - BE/B Tech Bachelor's degree in chemical/petroleum/mechanical/electrical. Experience Required: - A minimum of 6 years of relevant working experience in oil & gas installation and wells operations.,
