Sr. Engineer - Product Safety

As a Sr. Engineer - Product Safety at Schindler India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety standards of elevators and escalators post installation. Your responsibilities will include conducting audits for elevators/escalators within the active portfolio of the branch to certify compliance with Schindler standards. Your main responsibilities will involve interacting and coordinating with the Installation personnel to conduct the SAIS test for certification of elevators. This test is essential to ensure that all Schindler Elevators meet the required standards post installation and commissioning. Additionally, you will collaborate with the maintenance team to conduct the CPSI test, which standardizes safety inspection requirements for Schindler elevators every 5 years of operation. It will be your duty to ensure and report any non-conformities found during the SAIS and CPSI tests before closing the certification of the elevator. To excel in this role, you are required to have a minimum of 5 years of experience for installation or 7 years of experience for service personnel. A Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Electronics Engineering is mandatory for this position.
