Job Description

As the Central Control Room In-charge, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the operations of the Control Room. You should be proficient in operating DCS, Fire and Gas, and ESD systems from the Control Room, ensuring prompt and effective response to emergencies. It is essential to ensure that plant inhibits and overrides are managed in accordance with procedures and SMS guidelines. Additionally, you will be responsible for supervising personnel, ensuring their competency and awareness of their roles. Your role also involves optimizing processes to minimize plant upsets, responding efficiently to emergencies, and conducting all operations in a safe and environmentally friendly manner. Daily submission of accurate production reports as required by the company and client is crucial. You will also be expected to work on a rotation basis on and off the platform to ensure incident-free and uninterrupted operations. Monitoring and controlling process parameters of Topsides, Subsea, and wellhead at the offshore facility is a key aspect of your job. Acknowledging alarms, providing inputs for alarm rationalization, and taking corrective actions as necessary are essential tasks. Collaborating with OIM/Sr Lead operations and OT control room for process improvement is crucial. Maintaining clear and concise logs of events and inhibits to keep management and succeeding operators informed and aid in problem root cause analysis is important. You will be required to monitor the operation of Utility systems such as HVAC, power generation, water maker, air compressor, nitrogen system, fuel gas, and diesel from the control room, ensuring availability and quality as per set norms. Coordinating field operations, including equipment changeovers, sampling management, and maintenance activities, is also part of your responsibilities. Working closely with flow assurance teams to manage water and sand production in wells, participate in inflow/outflow modeling, and troubleshoot issues like liquid loading, well closures, hydrate, and unloading problems is essential. Conducting sand/solid transportation studies for oil/gas wells in subsea pipelines is also a key task. Ensuring compliance with HSE requirements and procedures, monitoring SIMOPS, executing process isolations, participating in risk assessments, ERP, mock drills, and inspections are critical aspects of your role. Reporting discharges, leaks, spills, injuries, and incidents promptly is essential. Your duties also involve preparing and submitting daily progress reports, maintaining logs and checklists, and participating in the development of SoPs. Proficiency in DCS, FGS, ESD system operations, SAP, process engineering, and process safety is required. You should be able to contribute to controlling critical situations, responding to emergencies, and possess offshore personal survival and management of major emergencies skills. Education Required: BE (Chemical/Mechanical/Petroleum Engineering) from a recognized university Experience Required: 5 years of specific experience in Offshore Operation in the Oil & Gas industry, with an overall experience of 10 years.,
