Sr. Engineer - Assembly

1. Production Management:

• Oversee assembly operations to ensure the timely achievement of production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions to address deviations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process efficiency.

1. Assembly Operations:

• Supervise and coordinate all assembly activities, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Optimize workflows to enhance productivity and minimize waste.
• Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of tools, equipment, and machinery.

1. Manpower Handling:

• Manage a team of operators and technicians, ensuring optimal workforce deployment.
• Train, guide, and motivate team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Address and resolve any manpower-related challenges effectively.

1. Shift Management:

• Plan and organize shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and smooth transitions.
• Conduct shift briefings to communicate goals, updates, and safety instructions.
• Prepare and submit shift performance reports to management.

1. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that all assembly activities comply with quality and safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address defects or inconsistencies.

1. Health and Safety Compliance:

• Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular audits.
• Address and report any workplace hazards or incidents promptly.

Qualifications and Skills:

• B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in assembly/production operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and manpower handling skills.
• Proficiency in shift planning and management.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a plus.
