Job Title: DevOps Senior lead Experience: 8+ Years Location: Pune Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Level 3 (L3) DevOps Senior lead with 8+ years of experience in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in GitLab, SonarQube, Linux, SCM, scripting (Shell, Bash, Python), and Kubernetes (On-Prem & Cloud). Proficiency in DevSecOps, Azure, and Terraform is essential, while knowledge of AWS/GCP is a plus. Additionally, strong presales experience is required to support solution design and proposal development. This role demands a deep understanding of automation, security, and cloud-native technologies to drive efficiency and innovation in software delivery. Key Responsibilities: Presales & Solution Design: Solution Design: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, architect DevOps solutions, and create comprehensive design documentation. Client Interface: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, leading customer communication, technical solution presentations, and pre-sales activities. Infrastructure Automation: Design and implement automation tools and frameworks for infrastructure provisioning and deployment. Technical Responsibilities: CI/CD Implementation: Design, implement, and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless software delivery. Source Code Management (SCM): Expertise in Git, Bitbucket, and other version control systems. Linux Administration: Strong skills in Linux system tuning, troubleshooting, and automation. Scripting & Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Bash, and Python. DevSecOps Practices: Integrate security tools like SAST, SCA, DAST, and container security into CI/CD pipelines. Kubernetes Deployment & Management: Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters on-premises and in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP). Cloud Platforms: Work extensively with Azure; AWS and GCP experience is a plus. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement Terraform and CloudFormation for infrastructure automation. Configuration Management: Use Ansible for automated provisioning and system configuration. Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Use tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and CloudWatch for infrastructure monitoring and issue resolution. GitLab Administration: Configure, manage, and optimize GitLab instances, ensuring effective utilization for version control and CI/CD. Code Quality & Security: Administer SonarQube, integrate it into CI/CD pipelines, and generate insights to improve code quality and security. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, and cloud technologies. Proven experience in GitLab, JFrog, and SonarQube administration. Expertise in GitLab CI/CD pipeline configuration and management. In-depth knowledge of JFrog artifact repositories and SonarQube for code quality analysis. Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Deep understanding of DevOps practices and methodologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Relevant certifications are a plus. Required Tools & Technologies: CI/CD Tools: GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD (or similar). Source Code Management (SCM): Git, Bitbucket, GitLab (or similar). Operating Systems: Strong expertise in Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS). Scripting: Shell, Python. DevSecOps Tools: SonarQube, Trivy (or similar). Kubernetes: On-prem & Cloud (EKS, AKS, GKE). Cloud Platforms: Azure (Mandatory), AWS (Good to have). Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, AWS CloudFormation. Configuration Management: Ansible (preferred), Chef (optional). Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, AWS CloudWatch.
