Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Databricks SQL Databricks Delta Lake Databricks Workflows and PySpark. This role involves developing and optimizing data solutions to drive business insights and efficiencies. The position is a day shift role with no travel requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement data solutions using Databricks SQL to enhance business intelligence capabilities.
Optimize data processing workflows with Databricks Delta Lake to ensure data integrity and performance.
Design and manage Databricks Workflows to automate data pipelines and improve operational efficiency.
Utilize PySpark to process large datasets ensuring scalability and reliability in data operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Monitor and troubleshoot data solutions to ensure seamless operation and minimal downtime.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers fostering a collaborative team environment.
Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve data processing and analytics capabilities.
Document data solutions and workflows to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for the team.
Engage in code reviews and quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of code quality.
Contribute to the development of best practices for data engineering and analytics within the organization.
Support the companys mission by delivering data-driven insights that enhance decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications

Possess a strong background in Databricks SQL enabling the development of complex queries and data models.
Demonstrate expertise in Databricks Delta Lake for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Have experience in designing and managing Databricks Workflows for streamlined data operations.
Show proficiency in PySpark for processing and analyzing large datasets.
Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Display excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
