Sr Designer II CAD

As a CAD Design Engineer at Visteon, you will play a crucial role in completing requests assigned by Electrical Engineers, Manufacturing, Product Development Engineers, and other internal customers. Your responsibilities will include ensuring alignment to design, manufacturing, and product standards, maintaining CAD data integrity standards, and handling TcUA design administration. You will be responsible for sharing output files with PCB fabricators, interpreting mechanical and electrical specifications, and executing all CAD related duties with precision and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Complete all requests assigned by various internal stakeholders - Adhere to design, manufacturing, and product standards - Maintain CAD data integrity standards - Handle TcUA design administration - Share output files with PCB fabricators - Interpret mechanical and electrical specifications - Execute CAD duties efficiently and accurately - Deliver designs on time and with high quality - Follow up on Engineering Queries with board fabricators - Attend global meetings with Hardware Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and SITA/EMC specialists Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Expedition software preferred - Strong understanding of mechanical concepts - Basic knowledge of EMC concepts - Passion for CAD design engineering - Experience in plan development in an ECAD environment - Familiarity with soldering processes such as SMT, wave, and selective - Ability to read geometric drawings and GD&T concepts - Organized, disciplined, and able to work under pressure - Self-motivated and eager to learn - Advanced level of English proficiency - Excellent communication and teamwork skills At Visteon, we are dedicated to advancing mobility through innovative technology solutions that create safer, cleaner, and more connected journeys for passengers across various transportation sectors.
