Sr Design Engineer - BIW

As an experienced Automobile or Mechanical Engineer with 3-5 years in automotive BIW / Structure / Sheet metal Design, you will be responsible for the following: - Capable of developing sheet metal components (BIW) using Surface design. - Ensuring quality and meeting project timelines by working on complex engineering parts. - Collaborating with team members and providing support as needed. - Detailed engineering design of complex parts in the project. Desired Skills: - Good knowledge of BIW (Body-in-White) Design of structural components such as Door Panels, Body Side Panel, Underbody Panels. - Proficiency in CATIA V5. - Strong experience in designing passenger car body components like Roof, Floor, Side body outer/inner, doors, closures, etc. - Relevant experience in Master Sections, Vehicle Integration, Vehicle packaging, Concept creation, assembly processes of various parts. - Knowledge and understanding of Tooling and manufacturing processes. - Familiarity with relevant Regulations & Homologation requirements. - Understanding of GD&T. - Experience in handling projects for leading Automotive OEMs. - Team management skills and project delivery experience. - Good knowledge of joining processes like Spot welding. - Willingness to work at various levels in a project organization based on project requirements. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.,
