Sr Data Engineer - Snowflake

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Snowflake solutions aligned with business needs.
• Build and manage scalable data pipelines, storage, and security configurations within Snowflake.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Leverage Snowflake features such as

  Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Time Travel

  for data processing.
• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data ingestion.
• Design and implement efficient

  logical and physical data models

  within Snowflake.
• Integrate Snowflake with tools such as

  dbt, Python, and other data processing frameworks

  .
• Implement best practices for

  data governance, compliance, and security

  .
• Collaborate closely with

  IT, DevOps, and Cloud teams

  for seamless integration and deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in

  databases and data engineering

  .
• Strong hands-on expertise in

  Snowflake

  .
• Solid understanding of

  data modeling, performance tuning, and data transformation techniques

  .
• Experience with

  ETL/ELT design and development

  .
• Proficiency with

  SQL, dbt, and Python

  .
• Knowledge of

  cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

  and CI/CD practices is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
