Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Lead Data Engineer with 10-15 years of experience to lead our team in designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable data solutions using Azure data services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure data services and cloud technologies, as well as expertise in Azure Databricks, PySpark, and SQL.

Roles and Responsibility

Lead and mentor a team of Azure Data Engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, promoting best practices and data governance.
Design, implement, and optimize scalable data solutions using Azure data services such as Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
Ensure data engineering best practices and data governance are followed, staying up-to-date with Azure data technologies to enhance data processing capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and track progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful project delivery.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Team Lead or Manager in data engineering, with extensive experience with Azure data services and cloud technologies.
Expertise in Azure Databricks, PySpark, and SQL, along with a strong understanding of data engineering best practices, data modeling, and ETL processes.
Experience with agile development methodologies and the ability to lead and mentor a team.
Certifications in Azure data services are preferred, with familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements.
Strong understanding of big data technologies and data warehousing solutions, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
