Sr. Data Analyst - SAS

Role Overview: You will be joining the Analytics & Information Management (AIM) global community at Citi, which focuses on driving data-driven transformation across the organization to provide actionable intelligence for business leaders. As a Client Remediation Data Analyst, you will lead a professional team to integrate subject matter expertise within a defined area, contribute to setting standards, and develop a deep understanding of how different areas integrate within the sub-function. Your role will involve coordinating with colleagues in other areas and regulators, managing volume, quality, timeliness, and delivery of end results, and planning resource allocation. You will also work with a cross-functional team to identify and validate client population analytics for remediation and compensation issues. Key Responsibilities: - Manage analysis of customer remediation issues for NAM Lines of Business such as Cards, Retail Bank, Mortgage & Ops - Execute comprehensive data remediation approach on customer issues due to policy gaps, self-identification, or internal audit findings - Identify customer size and financial impact due to these issues - Conduct root cause analysis of issues using analytical methods - Support audits by tracking implementation plans and providing data evidence - Deliver routine outputs while developing a broader understanding of the work context - Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations Qualifications: - 5-8 years of relevant experience - Strategic thinking and ability to engage external resources to achieve objectives - Knowledge of analytic tools such as SAS E-miner, Knowledge Seeker, SPSS - Experience in big data and machine learning tools like R, Python is a plus Tools and Platforms: - Business Analysis, Requirement Gathering, Data Analysis - Proficiency in SAS, SQL, RDBMS, MS Excel, PowerPoint, VBA - Familiarity with Jira, Bitbucket Domain Skills: - Understanding of banking domain and consumer products preferred Additional Details: - Education Level: Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience/ Engineering/ MBA from a premier institute - Overall experience of 5-8 years in a Data Analyst role - Experience in the Banking Industry is advantageous - Job Category: Decision Management - Schedule: Full-time, Hybrid working model (minimum 3 days in office per week) - Shift: Regular local working hours aligned with NAM overlapping working hours Please note that this job description provides a high-level overview of the role, and other related duties may be assigned as required.,
