Sr. Consultant Infra Vulnerability Assessment, Vulnerability Management

As a Security Verification professional in Mumbai, India, your role involves categorizing and prioritizing vulnerabilities based on critical assets, severity, and defined SLAs according to the information security policy and guidelines. Your key responsibilities include: - Identifying vulnerabilities related to misconfigurations, non-patching, or non-version upgrades and coordinating with infrastructure/systems owners for prioritized deployment and issue resolution within the defined timeframe. - Providing advisory support to the respective infrastructure and systems team for issue resolution. - Maintaining and delivering the Vulnerability Remediation Management Tracker. - Collaborating with IT operations and application teams to ensure timely fixing of identified vulnerabilities to maintain compliance with policies. - Continuously following up with IT infrastructure and systems teams on the closure status as per agreed timelines. - Following the escalation matrix process and highlighting issues or required support from senior management for timely closure. - Providing inputs and feedback to the Vulnerability Management Process and reviewing and providing feedback on hardening baseline updates. - Collecting and reporting Vulnerability Management KPIs as per the defined frequency.
