Sr. BIM Engineer

As a Senior BIM Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in executing and managing BIM/digital engineering work. Your responsibilities will involve driving digital innovation in design and construction, as well as supporting both tender and post-award projects. Your primary objective will be to deliver high-quality and timely BIM/digital engineering services in alignment with Leightons Digital Engineering Initiative and standards. - Lead BIM/digital engineering coordination and management on projects. - Implement and execute BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and provide training to BIM/CAD teams. - Proficiency in using Tekla software. - Generate and review 3D models and construction drawings utilizing approved software such as Revit, Navisworks, and OpenBuilding. - Manage and mentor a team of BIM modellers/CAD drafters. - Support tender submissions by creating BIM models and preparing documentation. - Develop and maintain BIM management tools for tracking and reporting deliverables. - Ensure compliance of all BIM models and drawings with company standards and address any non-compliance issues. - Collaborate effectively with internal teams (Engineering, Construction, Design, IT, Pre-Contracts) and external stakeholders (vendors, consultants, clients). To excel in this role, you should have: - BIM Certification or equivalent qualification. - 8-10 years of relevant experience in BIM coordination and management. - Proficiency in Autodesk and Bentley tools, especially Revit, Navisworks, and OpenBuilding. - Knowledge of ISO19650 and other BIM/digital engineering standards. - Experience with Common Data Environment (CDE) implementation and multi-disciplinary coordination. - Strong understanding of architecture, civil, and structural engineering design. Your key skills and attributes should include: - Advanced BIM modelling, coordination, and BEP implementation skills. - Hands-on experience with BIM authoring tools like Revit, Civil 3D, and Tekla. - Ability to generate construction shop drawings and conduct clash analysis. - Strong leadership qualities, training capabilities, and mentoring skills. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities. - A passion for digital technology in construction and a strong work ethic.,
